Our story

People who show up
for people.

Every therapist at Inspire Life chose this work because they believe in it. We bring our whole selves — our training, our compassion, and our humanity — to every session.

"We don't fix people. We sit with them, listen deeply, and help them remember what they already know about themselves."

— Megan Oravetz, Founder

Our approach to healing

Inspire Life Therapy was founded on a simple belief: that every person deserves a space where they can be completely honest without fear of judgement. We don't approach therapy as problem-solving — we approach it as relationship.

Our therapists are trained in a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment-Based Therapy, and more. What unites us is a commitment to meeting each client exactly where they are.

Whether you're navigating a life crisis, working through childhood wounds, or simply feeling stuck — you belong here.

What guides us

Our values

Compassion first

We lead with empathy — in every conversation, every session, every interaction. No one should feel like a case file.

Whole-person care

We see you as a complete person — not a diagnosis. Mind, body, spirit, relationship, and community all matter to us.

Continuous growth

Our therapists are always learning — staying current with the research so that what we offer you reflects the best care available.

A note on faith-based care

For clients who wish to integrate their Christian faith into the counselling process, we offer therapy that honours both psychological best practices and spiritual wellbeing. Faith-based counselling is always offered as an option — never imposed. Our practice is welcoming to all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities.
