People Who Genuinely Care

We are a small, dedicated team of licensed therapists and counselling professionals in Newport News, Virginia.

"Every person holds within them the capacity for growth, healing, and joy."

Inspire Life Therapy was built on a simple conviction: that meaningful change becomes possible when a person feels truly seen and genuinely understood. We don't believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all approaches. We believe in relationship — the therapeutic relationship as the foundation from which real growth can emerge.

Our practice integrates evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, Attachment-Based Therapy, and more. Each therapist brings their own expertise, but all of us share the same commitment: to show up fully for every person who trusts us with their story.

Addison has a particular passion for child and adolescent therapy, helping young people build emotional resilience, healthy coping skills, and a stronger sense of self. She uses play-based and creative therapeutic modalities to meet young clients where they are, and supports families in understanding and responding to their children's emotional needs. Addison works closely with parents as partners throughout the therapeutic process.

A note on Christian-based counselling

For clients who wish to integrate their Christian faith into the counselling process, we offer a gentle, respectful space to do so. We believe that for many people, faith is not separate from mental health — it is inseparable from it. Christian-based counselling at Inspire Life Therapy means weaving spiritual values, scripture, and prayer into the therapeutic work in a way that honours the client's tradition.

This approach is always entirely at the client's invitation. We do not impose religious content on anyone, and our practice warmly welcomes people of all faiths and none. Our commitment is always to the person in front of us — whatever that looks like for them.
